              Machining Challenges1. High material strength: 0Cr13Ni8Mo2Al is high-strength maraging steel with post-heat-treatment hardness ranging from HRC45 to 50.

              2. Deep-cavity internal gear configuration: The deep tooth cavity places strict requirements on wire stability and debris removal performance during machining.

              3. Strict uniformity for gear profile: Consistent tooth pitch, tooth thickness and tooth contour must be maintained to guarantee precise meshing performance in subsequent assembly.

              4. Dimensional control after heat treatment: Heat-induced deformation and finishing stock allowance need comprehensive calculation and compensation in process planning.

              5. Heat Treatment SpecificationSolution Treatment: Soak at 925±15℃ for minimum 30 minutes, followed by oil quenching or air cooling. Aging Treatment: Soak at 510±5℃ for 4±0.25 hours, then air cool to ambient temperature. Required Final Hardness: HRC 45~50.

              This heat treatment procedure delivers outstanding tensile strength, toughness and dimensional stability of the workpiece.
